Homeschooling was never the plan. Actually the way my entire life has unfloded, was never the plan I had.
We started homeschooling our kids after Covid. At that time I had a toddler, 1st grader and a middle schooler. I didn’t want them going back to school was all the restrictions were lifted.
So we started homeschooling them. We started as unschoolers, which is how most homeschoolers end their journey. I knew that replicating school as home was a horrible idea.
I wouldn’t call us unschoolers any more. Now we just live life together. The kids learn about whatever it is they are interested in. I have never bought a curriculum. But I do spend a small fortune in books. And the librarians know me by name.
